All nutrition visits will be conducted virtually

Specializing in sports nutrition and eating disorders!

I help serious athletes reach their performance potential by discussing how to fuel before, during and after practice, game day, on the road, during competition and in the off-season. I also help people suffering from eating disorders gain a better relationship with food and their bodies. I am not a fan of diets, calorie counting or restrictive meal plans. Instead, I help clients reach their goals and manage their health by providing personalized solutions and recommendations that work for their unique preferences, lifestyle, and budget.

If you are planning on using your insurance:

 

1. Please make sure you have called your insurance company PRIOR to booking your first visit. We require all patients to verify their Medical Nutrition Therapy benefits prior to scheduling their visit. Please note, verifying your insurance coverage is not a guarantee of coverage. In the event, the claim gets denied, you will be responsible to pay the full amount.

 

2) After verifying your insurance benefits, book your first visit by clicking the “Request Appointment” button below. A credit card is required to be kept on file, your card will only be charged if you: choose to pay out of pocket, owe a copay, coinsurance, deductible or your claim gets denied and your insurance requires you to pay for the visit.

3) Once scheduling your first visit, you will receive a confirmation email with contact information for logging in for your virtual visit!

*Effective April 2021: only accepting Cigna and Aetna insurance plans. If you are contracted with an insurance company that I currently do not accept, I am more than happy to provide you with a Superbill, an official document you need to seek reimbursement for visits on your own.

What to Expect

Initial Nutrition Visit

During our first visit, I will conduct a comprehensive assessment to get to know you. We will discuss your medical history, typical food intake, eating preferences, and any dietary restrictions or intolerances. We will also discuss your health habits: sleep, stress, and physical activity. Finally, we will discuss your short-term and long-term nutrition, health and wellness goals. With this information, you will be provided with specific education on your health condition, a personalized plan of action and recommendations you start implementing right after leaving the session that all work toward you reaching your unique goals.

Follow Up Visits

During each follow up visit, we will review your plan of action, goals, review any recent lab work if needed, food diaries, and discuss any barriers you may have encountered along the way. Follow up visits provide on-going support, accountability and check points along to way to help you start feeling better and living a healthier lifestyle. During each visit you also will be provided with personalized meal, snack and recipe solutions that meet your unique needs and fit your lifestyle. Through continued follow up visits: clients have seen improvements in blood work, learned how to build their own meal plan, understood when to spot fact or fictitious health and nutrition claims, reduced or come off medications, figured out the root to their digestive problems, gained more energy, built a healthier relationship with food, seen a boost in their athletic performance and ultimately be able to take control over their OWN health!

6 Month Plans

Kick Start Plan

  • One initial visit (60-minute visit)
  • Two 30-minute follow up visits
  • Unlimited email support in-between visits to provide on-going motivation, support and accountability
  • Personalized meal and snack solutions that are customized to manage your specific health conditions, meet your dietary needs, and take into account your schedule, budgetary restraints and most importantly your food preferences
  • Weekly reviews of your food, fitness and behavior logs. Detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement provided. Review of any recent lab work and supplement recommendations provided
  • Short term action plan with realistic and do-able goals to work on in-between visits that are geared towards meeting your health and wellness goals
  • Visits to be used within 3 months

Invest in Your Health Plan

  • One initial visit (60 minute visit)
  • Five 30-minute follow up visits
  • One of the follow up visits may be swapped for a grocery store tour instead
  • Unlimited email support in-between visits to provide on-going motivation, support and accountability
  • Personalized meal and snack solutions that are customized to manage your specific health conditions, meet your dietary needs, and take into account your schedule, budgetary restraints and most importantly your food preferences
